Epps does a great job stripping balls on the drive.

Rowan is going to be valuable going forward…even if he doesn’t start.

Epps got cooked by Claude. That should never be a match-up.

When Cook gets to play against less skilled players he does great. He’s manhandling a freshman tonight. Because he put two fouls on their Senior C. It's not like Xavier is playing a freshman because they want to. The freshman started 🤷♂️

Rowan drive and draws two, and dumps to Cook. That is team ball.
Styles is doing a good job staying open for Rowan and Epps. Loving his elbow jumper dropping.

22 of Xavier's 24 points to date after halftime coming from Olivari, McKnight, or Claude.

My goodness GU need a bona fide rim protector. They need better help defenders, they are getting wide open layups

What the hell was Massoud doing on that zone. A perfectly good question and one I was going to ask. It may be he was waiting for the ball so he could take a set shot, as that is what he is good at, but forgot he was on defense?

Maybe he figured a wing player can only sit and wait for a set shot and forgets that some guys can get to the rim.

Hoyas need a run and it feels like Hoya run time. Need the run time team in.

Heath has had two or three crazy horrible inside shots on two or more inside where he didn't have control of the ball.

Brumbaugh seems to have an edge to him tonight (in a good way). He's talking back to the bench and chatting with his teammates on what he's seeing (again, all in a good way). Seems indicative of maturity and maybe even a readiness to run the offense next year. He was also showing some toughness with Olivari, who seems to be trying to rattle him. No issues if he his response unless and until it starts leading to Ts or errors.
As far as how the game is going... It takes Miller 20 minutes to realize a small team can be bullied and baskets can be had at the basket. Hoyas have to keep their heads, make their shots as awkward as they can, get out and run, and shoot it well.
