Ended the half well. Started the half well.
When's the last time that happened?

Rowan does that too often...when he's pressure he depends on his ball handling skills instead of physicality. Those quarters were too tight to go with a wrap around pass Part of it is adjusting his game as he's played travel ball with mostly the same players for 4 or 5 years and they all knew each other well and his teammates all looked for the ball and set picks for each other. The wrap pass, which then is a set pick is a great play that often gets and easy basket on a drive, but Heath isn't familiar with that. I'm not hating on Rowan. I think he is the biggest difference between GTown being top half of BE next year and being a team fighting to get in the tourney. He has a skill set to be the best PG in the BE but just needs BE toughness.

Cook O-board and kick to Ish for deep 3.
Keep stretching the lead

So if we shoot our normal percentage from 3, we win. Sound familiar?

Great start to the 2nd. Keep up the defense and the shots will fall.

This six minutes to start the half is by far our best defensive stretch of the season.

One of the skills is the pass ahead of the assist, which is perfect for Cooley's style of play and the staff keeps track of that stat. Have an other point coming next year, who distributes well, but is more score first. It will be interesting with Rowan, Epps, and Mulready.

Cook getting O-boards and dunking changes the energy quite a bit and ND stops paying attention to just outside, so outside shooting opens up.
Liking this.

ND is so immature. This would be a worse loss than HC to me...no way this team should be able to put together enough good offensive possessions in a row to win. We have to help them like we did in the 1st half....at least HC was a veteran team.

Ish caught doubling under the basket, but there was no player under the basket and his man who shoots well left wide open. Ball IQ gap.

Massoud is difficult to justify playing if he isn’t getting and making open threes.
Much better rebounding in the second half and we are even in turnovers. Good signs.

Fielder's potential actualizing today! He's looking comfortable and confident for the first time this season.
