What's the deal with Murray? Have not seen much action there. Also is Allen still committed?

www.ncsasports.org/ncaa-eligibility-center/recruiting-rules/dead-periodThese are the remaining dead periods: April 10–13, 2023 May 18–26, 202 July 6-30, 2023 Except: July 6–9, 2023 is an evaluation period (NCAA certified events, institutional camps and permissible governing body events only) Except: July 25–30, 2023 is an evaluation period (NCAA College Basketball academy only) It is unclear to me why these dates in April are dead periods, perhaps it has to do with the Passover/Easter holidays? Though April 10-13 is after Easter. Thanks. Consistent with almost all NCAA actions Dead Periods are ridiculous And yet most coaches adhere to dead period dates. If a player talking with a program and they hit a dead period the coaches let the player know about it and things are quiet. Players try and compare notes to see if anybody has been contacted, but none are during these windows (or none admit it).

Gonna be disappointed if we miss out on Dual, especially if he opts for St. Johns.

The Narrative was that Pitino or Cooley with Georgetown resources and brand would have a much better team than he had at Providence. So I fully expect that to happen or else.

Yeah, it’s been pretty much sold to us that we’re willing to buy teams ala this years Miami. Hope it happens.

Aside from being an exceptional offensive player, I would add that Dickenson is 22, and will be 23 in November. So, he would also add an element of maturity that I think would be a good step forward. And also help the team get off the ground quickly. According to one source, Hunter is the #1 player in the portal.

Thanks for this. Would be HUGE to get Caleb, just for what it would say about getting in the mix for solid local players and high “culture” kids (Michigan and Villanova have been among suitors so far, and we’ve been no where). I’ve seen Caleb play a lot and don’t for a second think he’s the second coming of Josh Hart, and could end up a big guard/ small forward tweeener but whatever “chance” it could be is very much worth taking…

Cooley loves versatile tweeners. Go after Brumbaugh hard. Mix-in a pass first guard with his court vision, you've got something next season.
