That's funny. Isn't it sort of like yelling "rebound"?

Finally got myself a Jeff Green Nuggets jersey. Didn't do it's job in Game 3 but last night it did the trick. Hoping Jeff can get himself a Ring. I've also enjoyed watching Jeff and KD go at it knowing their histories.

I just need to say this somewhere. Jokic has 12 boards and five assists in the first quarter in Game 1 against the Lakers.

Who laughed last? My antipathy toward the Celtics is well known, but I thought they were a mortal lock to win last night after Derrick White's play of the year. Of course, the injury to Tatum didn't help.

Of course, the injury to Tatum didn't help. They were dead last night as soon as Tatum couldn’t run or jump. Real basketball aficionados will recognize the Celts only won the ECF games in which they played defense.

The funny thing is that when they set their mind to it, the Celtics' defense was as good as anybody's. Weren't they rated in the top 5 in the league metrically in both offense and defense during the season? Of course, the Tatum injury was a killer, but that's only because they fell behind 3-0 in the first place. I hear there is rumbling in Boston about breaking up Tatum and Brown. I think that would be a huge mistake, but hey, it's Boston, so we'll see. On behalf of the Lakers, I am willing to offer LeBron to the Celtics for either Brown and Brogdon, or Smart and Robert Williams and one of the Celtics' many first round picks. I don't speak for Rob Pelinka, though.

I don't speak for Rob Pelinka, though. The Brogdon injury (a partially torn elbow tendon) was a real killer because it meant the only real ball handler was Smart. There may be rumblings, but word is that ownership is likely to sign Brown to a Supermax deal. They need another legit 5 to back up Rob Williams, but more importantly Mazzulla needs legit assistants.
