As predicted Villanova moved to #1 in the regional poll, but what was not predicted the men fell to #2, behind Nova and Princeton.
The women remain #1, while Nova made a big jump to #2.

Men fell to #3. Not a surprise as Villanova and Princeton have been running very well. Villanova's weakness is that with even with their #1 Haftu who didn't run at Lehigh, they only have five strong runners. Several of those runners are more "track guys" and the courses they have run to date have been flat and fast. A more true measure of their XC abilities will be at Nutteycombe where the Hoyas get another chance to beat them. Princeton is tough, the battle for the top two spots in the Mid-Atlantic regional will be close.
The Women are #1 and while Villanova may be #2 there is a large gap between the two teams. There just isn't anyone else.

The men dropped 11 places (ouch!) to #28. Meanwhile, the women jumped 5 places to #13, not too far from top 10. The Hoyas had the biggest jump of the top 30.
