The 6-foot-4, 190-pound guard from Montverde Academy (FL) and The Skill Factory AAU program said he’s open to all schools at the moment. However, he’s been in contact with Michigan, Georgetown, Texas A&M, LSU, Arizona State and Louisville the most. Allen broke down each of those schools: Michigan: “Coach Juwan [Howard] is a great dude and has been around the game. He played at the highest level himself, so he knows what it takes to get to my main goal. Also the franchise, the history behind it with the fab five and him being a player in that.” Georgetown: “Same thing. The coach has been in the league and knows what it takes to get there, knows connections, knows the people, knows what position to put you in. He played at school himself too. So after we lose this kid to Michigan, who do we pivot to? Kidding....he is a stone cold lock for the hoyas. Now we just need to keep a few kids around for year two of our third rebuild and we are off.

Allen still mentions Georgetown when discussing his recruitment and brings up Nickleberry's name, so my guess is the Hoyas will make his top 6 list. Not sure if they can close the deal or not, but he does seem to be one of the programs top targets for '23 players. |

Not sure if they can close the deal or not, but he does seem to be one of the programs top targets for '23 players. We'll definitely make his final 6. I'd say we're the favorites to get him. His stock is dropping as he's played national events this summer. He'll remain top 100 particularly as he's now a Montverde kid but I wouldn't expect any of the big hitter programs to prioritize him. Michigan will probably be in his top 6 but I'm not sure if his offer there is commitable at this point. |

Georgetown - “Coach Pat Ewing played at the highest level and knows what it takes to get to the next level and has a lot the connections. I also have a great relationship with coach Nickleberry who recruited me at LSU. They call me everyday, check up on me and showed up to all my sessions.”
