Men's 1500m Heat 5 4 Parker Stokes Georgetown 3:43.01 (1:01.31) 5 Camden Gilmore Georgetown 3:43.06 (59.60) Overall standings besides Heat 5 10 Abel Teffra Georgetown 3:45.97 19 Lucas Guerra Georgetown 3:49.50 28 Jantz Tostenson Georgetown 3:53.28 Jack Van Scoter was in heat 3 with Jantz and in the results he was DNS. However, he did start and fell 100m into the race. Only 5 of the 12 in the race finished, mainly because of the fall. Protocol usually says to restart the race if there is a fall at the start.

Thank you for the additional information regarding Jack's race. I agree, in that situation the starter would normally stop the race call the field back to restart.

The men have fallen again to #139 even though we picked up points from the Joe Walker meet. The women fell three places to #29. I was hoping that the women would pick up more points because of Melissa's wonderful win in the 1500m at the Joe Walker's meet. While she is #3 in the nation in the 800m, she is only #26 in the nation in the 1500. So 25 women have a faster time than 4:17.
The men moved up one place in the Regional rankings to #7 changing places with Nova. The women moved up three places to #9 in the regional rankings. Melissa is #1 in the 1500m in the Mid-Atlantic regional rankings.
The men are ranked #2 in the Big East. The women are ranked #4 in the Big East.
The men's 800m squad is ranked #5 and #10 in the 1500m. The women are #7 in the 800m and #17 in the 1500m.
