They both have been struggling recently.

I would be glad to see both of them get in the 20-25 minute range tonight.

I want to say one positive thing tonight
Dante had 8 assists to 1 turnover.

He was fighting and made a lot of good passes. His shooting continues to be off. He needs to figure out a way to finish drives, or at least draw fouls.

I want to say one positive thing tonight Dante had 8 assists to 1 turnover. Also Beard had no TOs. He played mostly off ball until the end and I think this is the way to take some pressure off of him and get some confidence and more minutes. He played off ball both when subbing for Dante and when Dante was in. I was happy to see that.

Dante needs to have a purpose to what he is doing with the ball in advance when he dribbles for extended time periods. He is running clock for any time of offense, and seems to be doing so as exploratory and not with purpose. That ball needs to move.

It’s not like there is anybody in position to receive a pass to take a good shot. Carey and Rice make most of their threes off schedule, and no one else has any discernible half court scoring go to moves. Dante is like a bee flying around with a snoot full of pollen and no nest

My guess is that at this point Tyler may have voiced his frustration about lack of playing time to Coach Ewing and the staff in a way that has caused a stand off between the player and staff and we may not see him get any more minutes this year. That is a real shame. I think he is a talented player who could have developed into a really good rotation player for a good team. It does not seem like that is going to happen at Georgetown

At this time you can't play Tyler on the ball because he's a TO waiting to happen and you can't play Tyler off the ball because he can't score....I doubt that Tyler expressed anything. I think it's just a case of Tyler being so bad at this point that he can't even give the team 2-3 good minutes. I definitely believe that Ewing doesn't know how to develop players. Maybe when you are a all timer you believe that it should come easily....

After the disrespectful way Tyler and one of his teammates acted during Lift Every Voice and the National Anthem on Sunday, this doesn't bother me at all. Rest of the team was united and respectful.

Can you provide more background on what happened for those of us (me) that are clueless to what occurred?

There's not anything more to it than that. At one side of the court, the UCONN team, arms linked and united, paid tribute to Black History Month and our National Anthem. On the other half of the court, two players laughed and joked around the whole time while not even facing in the same direction as the rest of the team.

Maybe Ryan. I know that they were tight in the off-season.

JBill----- the rest of the team was as respectful and united as UCONN sans armslink. Ryan was right in the center.
