Tennessee laying an egg. Maybe they would have been the easier 5 seed to draw. Counterpoint: maybe the Pac-12 a little underrated so far. Counter-counterpoint: teams coming off a serious conference tourney title run have a lot of momentum.

This GT-Loyola game has been back and forth all game long and looks to be another good one.
Although GT is disproving Rockaway's counter-counterpoint. Granted losing your All-Conference player never helps.

Ouch. Another painful Gtown stat. As GT is going to be the first team to shoot 60 pct and lose a tourney game since us vs Davidson in ‘08.

What the players are going through in the bubble has to be bizarre at best, and I know this isn't a normal tournament. But this feels as close to "normal" a big sports event has been since the Chiefs-49ers Super Bowl. Today has just been great.

Oh great, last team to lose shooting over 60% was us in 2008 against Davidson. Georgia Tech could have gotten our names out of that record then they had to chuck up two threes beyond NBA range.

Agreed, I don't think Loyola will have their miraculous FF run but I trusted they would get this win against GT without Wright.

My three year old son is on fire right now. He’s gotten all but the Ohio st game right. He’s even got Oregon St. winning. Things get a little difficult for him coming up as he has a powerhouse elite 8 showdown between Grand Canyon and Ohio. As a side note, I am seriously contemplating disowning him; he has Cuse winning everything cause he thought a giant orange beating a bunch of animals and tough sounding humans was funny. I think it’s less funny.

Given the small crowds, I was pleasantly surprised to hear how the fans were really loud and into the Oral Roberts upset. This will be the first NCAA game in a long time where we are the underdog and could benefit from the crowd being behind us.

I am probably dreaming - don't wake me because it is a nice dream!

If Liberty upsets Ok State it means G-d has a plan for evangelical Christian schools. IOW, Baylor wins it all! 😁
