I wonder if Colin has the foot speed to run with the DAWGS next season. Dante, Aminu & Jordan Riley can push tempo in a big way.

He's slow, unathletic, but crafty. I'm surprised we recruited based on the little I've seen of him. Is he a Charles Barkley type? Haven't seen much to really accurately assess him. He is a most curious recruit given my perception of the team's needs.

There's lots of guys who do well in college with a crafty game.

Yeah, watch video of young Barkely- like the old "NBA Superstars" clips- and he is a monster.

We will be able to use his bulk on Colorado. They have a 6-6, 280 lbs. forward.

Went back and looked at footage when he was in high school. He was a heck of a passer.

“We’re an experienced team,” said Hunter, who took Georgia State to the NCAA tournament three times in his last five years there before taking the Tulane job. “It’s something I’ve never had here. Those Georgia State teams, we knew it wasn’t if we were going to go to the tournament. It was how many games can we win at the tournament. That’s how I feel about this group.” Hunter said Holloway, a versatile 6-foot-6 Georgetown transfer and Baton Rouge native, would be his fifth starter if the season began now. www.nola.com/sports/tulane/article_36ac487a-12a4-11ed-8a6b-638e3f55c885.html

I liked Holloway, he had that fight in him that Ewing wanted.

Yikes. It’s sad so many of us (including me) wanted him to stay and he is the last starter on Georgia State. Says how bad last year was.

The Wave added Georgetown transfer Collin Holloway, former Minnesota and Oregon State contributor Tre’ Williams and promising freshman Percy Daniels to its returning core. Holloway, a 6-foot-6 forward who attended Port Allen High, averaged 14 points in two games during Tulane’s August trip to Costa Rica and figures to be the fifth starter, joining the big three and junior guard Sion James, who is an outstanding defender. “He’s physical,” Forbes said of Holloway. “He plays really tough. For him to be undersized, he plays kind of big. Collin will be huge for us.” www.nola.com/sports/tulane/article_97541a4c-4439-11ed-9772-f71ee607d1f0.html
