All true but Jackson never played with Floyd. Yes, my bad. Jackson came the year after Sleepy graduated. It should have been 2 years of Duren-Floyd and 2 years of Brown-Floyd. Of those 2 backcourts, I would favor Duren-Floyd as among the all-time great Hoya backcourts. No question. I would also have loved to see Fred play his whole career with two good knees.

He was a 6’5’’ PG with GREAT vision and defense. However, he was a very unreliable shooter before the knee. Unsure that would have ever developed.

I know I'm gonna regret typing this but who is Long? I'm drawing a blank.... Also I give a shot out to Sugar Rodgers..I know I can't put her on a team but she is by far my fave GTown women's player...shot out to the 757 Shernard Long. He’s from the best forgotten end of Thompson - beginning of Escherick era. I actually almost put him cause he carried us for a bunch of games. I think he transferred to Georgia State after being academically ineligible. Someone correct me if I’m wrong on that last part. Nailed it on Long....ty! I should really replace Long with Reggie.....what he did in '87 was unbelievable. Loved that guy.

Brunner and Edwards were my favorite PGs who transferred out. Edwards was a major, major loss. He would have been a flat out star.

Also the losses of Brunner and Sheffey were tough to handle- lots of talent down the drain for no good reason.

His dribbling exhibition against Carolina in the inaugural Big East/ACC challenge was Globetrotter-like.
He left people slack jawed...

As we ran out the clock on that game, he put on a show.

1pg-Jon Wallace 2sg-Austin freeman 3 sf-boubacar aw 4 of-Michael graham 5 c zo mourning. My favorite starting 5 but I not saying that is the best starting 5. I loved freeman spotting up and Wallace was mr clutch he was better then iverson in the clutch understanding how to get a clutch bucket without charging or missing the shot. Also if I had a sixth man Darryl Owens was a great clutch 3 point shooter. Starks and cook was great to. That’s my favorite anyway.

David Edwards was Khalid El-Amin & he left the program when we needed him most of all. Judging by the vast amount of departures from the program there are always multiple sides to stories. Here is my all time departure team:
PG David Edwards SG Victor Page SF Anthony Jones PF Anthony Tucker C Micheal Graham
That team would have been NASTY.
