247sports.com/college/washington-state/Article/Washington-State-Cougars-basketball-among-top-choices-for-coveted-JC-point-guard-Rueadale-Williams-141640483/Williams, who prepped up north in Hamilton, Ontario, is a sophomore at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and putting together a monster junior college season. He’s averaging 9.8 assists (second in the NJCAA), 19.8 points points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Williams also averages 3.2 steals per game, which ranks him just outside the top 10 in the NJCAA.
“I’m very interested in Wazzu,” he said.
WSU assistant coach Jim Shaw and recruiting coordinator Michael Plank are running the point in his recruitment. “Plank and Shaw -- those are my guys," said Williams, who added he's been in close communication with Shaw ever since receiving his WSU offer in October.
Besides WSU, he says he likes New Mexico State, Boise State and Northern Kentucky (all of whom have offered) as well as lurking schools Indiana, Pitt and Ole Miss.

This would make three PGs in one recruiting class. That would be a surprise unless they are already recruiting over someone.

Personally I’d prefer a grad transfer, someone with one year of eligibility. Hopefully the two frosh guards can simmer and develop and then be ready the following year.

The only other guards we have for next year are Mac and Blair. I really don't see them going anywhere. Blair will be a senior and Mac doesn't seem unhappy.

What we all prefer compared to what is achievable may be 2 different things. Given our dire situation presented a couple weeks ago with the 4 transfers, I’d take 2 frosh developmental PGs and a solid/immediate gap filling JuCo transfer PG. And I wouldn’t think twice. Commendable response from Ewing in such a short period of time. Then find some wing shooters and an athletic/powerful/rangy forward who can defend. At least then the roster is full and begin to build and move forward again.

Zeke he has the talent, but he has to be more efficient before even thinking about making the jump. Also has to commit to defense.
