One hopes 11/14/19 was the low bar. Film study tomorrow should be enlightening for the guys.

Need more minutes for our best players and less from our worst. Sounds simple, but...

Need to hit open threes, McClung and Blair especially. Hard to win a modern college game without making some 3-pointers.

If it starts like this one, I may not be able to finish watching this one. I need a complete 180 from this pathetic performance. Rotations need to be fixed. All sorts of rotations. I'm not really looking forward to this one.

We'll know before the opening tip whether Ewing views the start to the season as an aberration or if he's willing to accept some of the blame and make changes based on the starting lineup.
it took him more than 3 games to start LeBlanc over Mourning last year, lets hope he figures it out quicker this time as the schedule will not give him that luxury.

Georgia State v. Duke tonight. Another opportunity to apply the "transitive" property in college basketball. Hope the team is with the coaches watching the game. Duke -28.

So if SMU beats Evansville on Monday and we beat SMU, do we get some transitive credit of beating Kentucky or is that too far down the chain? haha

Georgia State stayed right with Duke tonight, keeping the game close into the early part of the second half, tying the score at 40-40. Duke then pulled away on the strength of superior rebounding, tough defense, some timely 3-point shots, and a career game from Tre Jones.
Georgia State is well coached and plays at a frenetic pace. They force turnovers on defense. But they give up a lot of rebounds. Duke eventually won by only 11, though that included a couple of garbage baskets by the Panthers in the last minute.
This will not be an easy game for the Hoyas.

We won't win this game if we play at the same level we have during the first 3 games

Josh starts, Allen shines on the defensive end, and Mac scores 15+ in this one. We play well in a win.
Some (not all) balance is restored to the force before NYC.

LeBlanc needs to start. Bring out some intensity in this one. Play some defense. Be smarter and turn the ball over less. We need to play hard here and get us ready for Texas. Someone aside from James and Yurt has to step up. No more full bench lineups, unless those guys are hot and playing better or there's significant foul trouble until the game is over. This needs to mark some improvement. I can't say I'm optimistic. Rotations need to be fixed, big time. Also, the offensive sets. They haven't been anything aside from force it to Yurt. Run another play, run something for a guard to make a play.

This game will be revealing based on who starts, minutes distribution, rotations etc. I hope to think the staff/team have had a chance to self-reflect/and enact the necessary changes to propel us forward. The optimism in me says we'll see a completely different team tomorrow. We may look back to the penn st game as the turning point in our season in a positive manner.

Would love to see a starting lineup of Akinjo, Alexander/Gardner, Pickett, LeBlanc and Yurt7.
