Happy to see you on the other side, Ed. Here’s hoping your cardiologists can adjust things to keep you healthy.

Do we have any word on how Ed came through yesterday? Hoping and praying for a good outcome.

EasyEd, I am a seldom poster, frequent reader. You have always been one of my favorite posters ... same gentlemanly manner as Lich, but with much better grammar. Glad to see things seem to be developing positively, I will keep you in my prayers. Go all Hoyas, young and old!!

Blockages found but risky to use stents. Opted for medications to seek to control symptoms. Uncertain what future holds. In the meantime will watch Hoyas in a few minutes. But, most of all, super, many thanks for the prayers and best wishes. God bless all. Edi It's been a few days Ed. How ya feeling?

I have an apparent blockage in one or more of the vessels into or out of my heart. Tomorrow morn docs will attempt to locate blockage(s) and insert a stent(s) to alleviate the problem but success is not guaranteed. Since I am three weeks away from my 88th birthday, surgery does not appear to be an option. Would appreciate any prayers you may offer for me, as well as for my wife of 60 years. Thanks. Ed prayers for you ed ... god is great you will be healed in jesus name.. i dont know if id reach that age id be lucky to reach 60 i think am 37 right now

Ed,
It's been a while since I've visited the board, but I'm glad I did so today. You and your family will be in my prayers.

I'm not a person of faith but I'm sending my best wishes. Thank you, Ed, for the update. We're all pulling for you. I hope you adjust quickly to your new meds and are back to feeling like yourself in no time.
I know I'm not telling you anything you don't know but, because your health is of utmost importance, please be sure to be your own advocate. If you're not feeling better or you're feeling like something isn't right, please say something to your current docs and please seek another doc if you feel your voice isn't being heard. I don't mean to disparage the medical profession but I've seen firsthand how important it is to be an advocate for oneself or a loved one.

As the husband of a physician who has also been a patient as a result of a major disease, I would say this couldn't be more correct, and so would she.
