D'Andre Barriffe was the favorite in the 200m, but he scratched. The announcers did not have a clue until they re-ran the video of the 100m and saw D'Andre pulling up.

The thrill of victory and the agony of defeat in the 800m. Cathilyn MacInosh is your 800m women's victor in 2:06.95. And Joe White in the men's 800m was leading going into the 2nd lap and pulled up. Hope it was just a cramp or else he may be out of the regions. BTW, Kenny Rowe won the men's 800m in a photofinish. Mother of... did the team bus run over an old Gypsy woman on the way to the meet?!?! Congrats to Ken, as well as Brennan and Ian for their strong finishes as well! Too bad for Joe, and really crossing my fingers that he's okay for Regionals. While making it clear that my thoughts/concerns are obviously first with Joe and his health, assuming Joe won if he finished, that would have been 10-8-5-4 (27) vs 10-6-5 (21) as they finished. In addition, Nova would have scored 6 instead of 8, so it's an 8 point swing. Sucks for the team and for Joe.

No entries for Georgetown in the women's 5000m. That's... odd. Any indication of what happened with Maddy and Kayla?

No Nick Wareham in the meet. Is he injured also? I think he would have been a major factor in the 5000m. As it was Rusty Kujdych finished 3rd.

The 4x800 relay team won the race. Norris, Dammer, Modrall, and Corman ran. 8:49.43 was the time.

The men finished 2nd in the 4x400 with E. Delgado, Leake, Padhal, and Rowe. It was pretty amazing that the men were so close to DePaul, since the demons swept the open 400m, 1,2,3. Their anchor had to hustle to run down Kenny Rowe, who is normally an 800m.

Yes, it felt that we were cursed in this meet with three runners going down. Plus, the loss of Nick Wareham, wherever he was, was also big.
