When talking about vists he might take: lists FSU, Texas, NC State
“I mean yeah of course Georgetown, my mom just said Georgetown. I meant to take an official there but just couldn’t because of corona.”
Quote at 7:15 mark

I don't like the fact that he did not mention Georgetown until mom "reminded" him.
Sounds like the kid listing his favorite Christmas presents. Mom has to remind him "oh yeah, of course I really like the socks from Aunt Myrtle".

These kids aren’t seriously considering coming here.

Would be a good get but I been following his recruitment. Seems a like a Virginia or Ohio St lean. Kansas is the new school after him lately.
Add in the fact that he play with team takeover in the summers. We virtually don't get many takeover kids for whatever reason.

Is Efton Reid the next to move up a year and into the 2020 class? The chances grow by the week, which makes his recruitment one of the more intriguing ones this summer. Qualifying for college is within his grasp, and thanks to the need for a player with his talent, there are plenty of suitors. Reid has taken official visits to Ohio State and Virginia, and while the Wahoos have been the perceived favorite for more than a year now, landing his commitment will not come easy. Interest in him has only increased lately, with Kentucky being the latest to reach out to him. It doesn’t stop there: Florida State, Georgetown, Iowa State, Kansas, Louisville, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, NC State and Pitt are some of the other schools involved. If on-campus recruiting opens before the summer is over, it wouldn’t be outlandish to think that Reid will take a few official visits and enter the college ranks this fall. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/evans-seven-top-prospects-on-the-reclassification-watch

Why he’s a must-get: Tony Bennett and the Cavaliers are going to need more size and who better than a top 30 in-state player like Reid to come in? Reid is big, he’s strong and he would likely be a strong anchor to Bennett’s defense and a good fit on the offensive end. He’s not a high flyer, but he’s smart and showing more and more skill. The competition: Reid still has a rather large list which consists of Florida, Kansas, Louisville, LSU, Michigan, Rutgers, VCU and more. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/bossi-s-best-must-gets-for-top-12-college-hoops-programs

Stated tuition, room and board $77,000 per year. But some say only about 25% pay it. Don't accuse me of bias when I ask who pays the other 75%? Agents? Shoe companies? Who?

I assume high schools like this recruit at some level - do they not give out athletic scholarships (which would be subsidized by those students who pay)? Presumably sponsorships as well, but I'm sure others are a lot more familiar with this then I am.
