I wouldn't be surprised to see any of the Top 5 finish 1st..... I agree...but i think alotta folks are sleeping on Depaul...i don't think they'll finish last. The Conference is gonna be very competitive 1-10

6 BE teams in his 36, with two more in the mix... Duke at #4. Penn St at #33. Omer up for the Jabbar Award (center) at #8. Akinjo up for the Cousy (PG) Award at #20.

The real and only reason why they were so desperate to get back in the BIG EAST that they through the football program under the bus... The travel money they save for not having to fly all sports all over the place likely exceeds the new season ticket dollars.

Big East Basketball: Analyzing the top 2019 recruit for each program bustingbrackets.com/2019/06/28/big-east-basketball-analyzing-top-2019-recruit-program/5/Head coach Patrick Ewing seems to be rebuilding Georgetown basketball in a hurry. Even though he is yet to make an NCAA Tournament appearance as the leader on the sidelines, the program is clearly improving both on the court and on the recruiting trail. Qudus Wahab, a top-150 center, is an excellent addition and he could blossom into a star under the tutelage of the NBA Hall of Fame big man. At 6-foot-10 and 230 lbs, Wahab already brings enough size to the table for the center position and just needs a bit more polish. He will also have this year to learn behind presumed starter Omer Yurtseven. Given this situation, Wahab is in a great place to learn and develop for a couple of years before emerging as a major piece of the puzzle in the future. He already brings an excellent frame and his potential for success on both ends of the floor is there. Wahab uses his body well to disrupt shots around the rim on the defensive end of the floor and can be an elite rebounder as well. His post moves offensively leave something to be desired at this point but that can easily be remedied with more polish.
