We can beat all 3 or lose the first game.
To me Harvard is as tough as either of the other two would be. Saw them play Yale today and they have a guard who will give us problems. Jesse should be able to assert himself though against them.

Where do we play Harvard? My guess would be on campus at McD.

Play hard and smart. And some defense.

www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/nit-bracket-2019-tournament-schedule-dates-times-locations-32-team-field/NIT rule modificationsThe NIT continues to experiment with rules in its tournament. Some changes in the NIT have eventually seeped its way into the mainstream of college basketball, such as the 30-second shot clock and four-foot restricted-area arc.
The NCAA playing rules process operates on two-year cycles, rule changes can be approved this May, and could be in effect for next season. There will be four rule modifications for the 2019 tournament:
The 3-point line will be extended by approximately 1 foot, 8 inches to the same distance used by FIBA for international competition (22 feet, 1.75 inches).
The free throw lane will be widened from 12 feet to 16 feet, consistent with the width used by the NBA.
The shot clock will reset to 20 seconds after an offensive rebound instead of the full 30 seconds.
Team fouls will reset at the 10-minute mark of each half for the purpose of determining free throws and one-and-one free throws will be eliminated. Teams will shoot two bonus free throws after the fifth team foul of each 10-minute segment. Additionally, teams will be awarded two bonus free throws after the second team foul committed under two minutes remaining in each half if that foul occurs before the fifth team foul of the segment. In each overtime period, team fouls will reset, and teams will shoot two free throws beginning with the fourth team foul or the second team foul committed under two minutes remaining if that comes before the fourth team foul of the overtime period.

These rules I think will open up the paint for Jesse.

Was hoping DePaul made the NIT so all 10 BIG EAST teams made the post season. Butler made it as a 5 seed with a .500 overall record (16-16). DePaul left out with a .500 overall record (15-15). Both teams finished 7-11 in conference but somehow DePaul didn't get a NIT bid...?

Hoyas--NC State fans and I don't get along at all, so please if we get by Harvard, beat them like a drum. I mean, they strongly dislike me so please whoop them. I'm really scared about that game. I already took my victory lap when Belmont made the NCAA's over them.

Let’s get win #20. After that the rest would be house money.

As bad as Jesse was this last month, he was pretty good in November and December against our mid major opponents.

I'm looking forward to this game and to finally seeing Georgetown back in the post season. I actually think Ewing getting there in his second season is a bit ahead of what I expected. I don't think he gets enough credit from some on here for the job he has done both finding players and developing them into every-day Big East players. I realize a couple of particularly bad performances stand out, but there has been a lot of good this year. We beat all of the teams who will represent the Big East in the NCAA Tournament. That's a nice step for this team.
The NIT games often seem to come down to whether the major conference teams are focused and want to play. I hope this team is hungry -- they haven't been here in a while. We are better than Harvard. If we play like we are capable, we can win and advance. I'll be watching and cheering them on. Let's go.

JTIII got to the NIT his first season, Ewing his second. It would be great if progress can move along the same path, and we make the NCAAs next year!
