This has nothing to do with the Big East, probably should not be on this page - but I just saw that the ACC, which is moving to 20 conference games next year, has its conference openers on Nov. 5 and 6!

I think they are just playing those games so early as another way to pressure cable companies to carry the ACC Network. Hopefully that fails.

The Big 10 did that this year, except they had 2 conference games very end of November/first week of December.

Syracuse gets to open with Virginia on Nov. 5. Jimmy B. will be apoplectic!

Buzz is a Texas native, and the road to the top of the ACC will always be blocked by Duke, Virginia and North Carolina. I think there is a real possibility he takes the A&M job if it is offered.
