Wow this guy is the real deal. I definitely hope Ewing and company make this guy a priority.

The award: As I wandered the gym, I was looking for a big, bad, physical, tough and intimidating dude who cleaned the glass and blocked shots. Mercy, Moussa Cisse did all of that and more. He racked up 57 rebounds and 25 blocks and tried to tear the rim down whenever he could on offense. You have to appreciate the nasty he can bring to the floor. His recruitment: Georgetown, PItt and UConn are some of his known offers, but it's hard to imagine his recruitment doesn't turn into a big-time affair. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/bossi-s-best-eybl-indianapolis-awards

How many centers on the roster is too many?
Asking for a program that has seen one guard drafted by the NBA in the past 29 years.

You don’t ever turn away guys like him. I know there’s lots of hand-wringing over what might have gone on with Carter. Whatever. It’s a business. I long for the day when we have the depth and cache to process guys we recruit over.

The award: Each time I see Cisse he's a little more about production and a little less about potential. Don't get me wrong, as a big man on his way to 7-foot who blocks shots and runs the floor, Cisse still has tons of potential too. But, he's getting more reliable as a scorer and rebounder, and reminds me a lot of 2020 five-star N'Faly Dante. The recruitment: Connecticut, Georgetown, Georgia and Pittsburgh have offered. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/pangos-aa-camp-the-bossi-awards

Cisse is the definition of a rim protector. He is one of the best that the high school game has seen in recent years and can singlehandedly change the complexion of a game without scoring a point. The latter rarely ever happens and while he does need to produce more efficiently within crowded spaces, Cisse is a great rim runner that cleans up plays on the weakside glass and works the drop-off spot well prior to the easy dunk. He can guard near and away from the goal and can play out of his area on the glass. When speaking on backline defenders, Cisse sets the bar. Recruitment: Very little has been said with Cisse pertaining towards his recruitment but UConn has made early in-roads with him, where Georgetown and Pitt are two others that have offered. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/nike-top-100-mid-camp-first-team

Moussa Cisse, PF/C – Usually big guys aren’t who dominate in camp settings, but the 6-foot-10 and 210-pound Cisse was excellent. Cisse brings a unique combination of athleticism and length to the court, and he blocked shots, rebounded, and finished down low at a pretty good clip. Cisse also brought a high-motor and did a lot to impact the game on both ends of the floor. Best Athlete: Moussa Cisse (No. 8) Quite simply you don’t see players who stand around 6-foot-10 and 210 pounds do the things athletically that Cisse can do. He is capable of taking off from near the foul line and dunking, and then also can block shots well above the rim. Cisse also runs the floor like a guard, and can move his feet laterally in ball screen situations. His athleticism is top notch, and it flashes very consistently on the court, and not just in a workout/testing type of setting. Recruiting: Connecticut, Georgia, St. John’s, Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Georgetown, Louisville, Villanova 247sports.com/college/basketball/recruiting/Article/College-basketball-recruiting-2021-rankings-superlatives-133536571/

Cisse is fantastic. Very high ceiling player. Absolute early entry pro in my view. Would love to have him on the Hoyas.
