Cisse is looking for a program that will be a stepping stone for a few months as he prepares for his jump to the NBA. He’s looking for an offense that will help showcase his abilities. Georgetown at this point isn’t the best place for him based on those factors. Now from a being coached by a HOF big man few programs can offer that. But we’ve seen that doesn’t seem to resonate with top recruits. Never saw this as happening and tbh this would not have benefited either side.

How is GTown's makeup any different than Memphis's makeup last year? Whether or not GTown can be a 1nD spot for Cisse is completely based on how talented Cisse is. If he is good enough to beat out Q or compliment Q than we have the pieces in place to showcase Cisse. I personally don't see Cisse as the offensive talent that Wiseman was last year but with Q and Morko he wouldn't need to be.

Why should the Hoyas pay posters on this board? I believe much of the commentary on recruits and discussions about the coaches and dismal fan base would be discouraging to any prospects. The discussions tend to be quite negative. That could be somewhat understandable given what has occurred the last few years. But, we have a new slate of players and I am hopeful! I wonder what is happening with Malcolm... whether he's gaining weight, improving his footwork and shot. At some point he's going to be great. He's the best shot blocker on the team!

Cisse has pushed back his announcement. Is it because he's waiting to see if LSU gets wrecked by the NCAA? Has he decided to stay in 2021? Who knows but we're still on his list.

I could be wrong but that doesn't seem likely to me. With the speed at which the NCAA operates, it's going to be a while before anything actually happens to LSU. For a one and done, I can't imagine it'll matter all that much. But that's just my impression of how these things play out. Maybe by the 23-24 season there will be sanctions.

They bring in too much in March. I'd be really, really shocked if anything happens to Kansas. I think Wade will get something (eventually) and I'm not sure about Miller.

This may be a good time to start paying players. 😜💲💲💲 With the new NCAA rules around endorsements, won't that just become the now legal way to pay players? Coaches would talk about the great publicity and attention they will get in the city/state they are in, and how so many businesses love having players endorse them. I'm sure some coaches will have behind-the-scenes deals with these businesses to offer the players endorsements. Whoever jumps out the first year and gets a bunch of endorsements for players could have a real head start as it becomes a reinforcing cycle. Players will know you can get paid there and businesses will know the players are up for it and it gets them access to the team/games. I was and am all for players being able to make money on their own likeness, but to me this seems like a pretty obvious way to recruit and get players paid without risking getting slapped, unless I completely misunderstand the new rules (which is totally possible).

If you had told me a week ago that Moussa Cisse would still be uncommitted today, I probably would have thought you were crazy. But, last week wasn't just any week and Cisse has held off on his commitment. While the athletic, shot-blocking big man hasn't yet made his decision official, I still favor LSU to land his commitment over Florida State, Georgetown, Georgia, Kentucky and Memphis. It could perhaps come as soon as this week. However, if Cisse doesn't do something soon, then it may be a sign that he's more conflicted about his decision than has been thought for the last month or so. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/starting-five-kuminga-s-graduation-cisse-watch-continues

Please re-post, blank image There was no image. It was just a tweet from Cisse that said “next week” with a couple of emojis, but it looks like he deleted it.
