Meanwhile The Hoya has next to nothing on the bribery scandal today, but that seems to be because they released a massive piece of enterprise work on the priests associated with Georgetown who have been accused of abuse, with dozens or related articles, all no doubt in the works for weeks.

So how about focusing on a positive for a minute or two break from the current episode of "Housewives of Lompoc Prison"----a story of cosmetics, agro moms and undercover deception....Correct me if wrong, but our very own Georgetown has the highest acceptance rate currently vs. any and all of the Catholic Universities....
We are in the low teens, I have seen 12%, where the old standard at Notre Dame is at 19.5%....Just a bit of good news...Now back to nailing those rich mothers.

G'town has an acceptance rate for 2018 of about 12%...No one comes close in the Big East (Nova at 29%) then BC at the high 20s and ND at 19.5%.....Toughest Catholic University to get into...By the numbers.

I know it's off topic, but wow, that was an amazing piece of work. There should be a lot of questions in how the current leadership handled O'Connell - especially given the disparity in how Fordham acted when informed.

The FAQ has a little more info in that it expands on the "irregularities" for which Ernst was ultimately terminated--"irregularities in the representation of [students'] athletic abilities and other credentials" discovered by the Admissions Office. The FAQ make clear that there was no knowledge of bribes, but there's no word on internal speculation as to why Ernst would waste slots on those whose "athletic abilities" had been misrepresented.

Curious that nobody has asked Mr. Muir about his tennis coach while he was at Georgetown and his current sailing coach at Stanford....

One of the fraudulently admitted kids sues the University claiming they should have known he was a fraud.
Priceless.

2nd time Haden has been under suspicion. USC seems to be the epicenter of the scandal.
