Been away all day, so lots to report. Number 1, three Hoyas broke 4 minutes in the mile today in two venues, and two of the Hoyas were grads. Amos Bartelsmeyer continued his great running as he won his 3rd race in a row. His time was not his best of the season, but he won the Millrose Allen Steinfeld men's mile by over two seconds. 1. Amos Bartelsmeyer 3:59.75
Going to Boston In heat two of the men's mile grad Collin Leibold and current redshirt Spencer Brown were 4th and 5th in their heat: 11 (overall) Collin Leibold 3:59.51 12 (overall) Spencer Brown 3:59.97. Spencer has run a 1500m race that on conversion is probably quicker than this, but it still stands as Spencer's first sub-4 mile. 14. Nick Wareham 4:01.6 PR (expect Nick to also go sub 4 soon) 19. Jack Salisbury 4:03.19 Ironically Jack went out the fast of the GU guys and finished at a sub-4 pace; when Jack gets those 2nd and 3rd 400m right, he should be under 4 too. 72 Joshua Bell 4:13.17

Back to the Millrose Games
Mel Sheppard 800m (featured 800m race) 4. Joe White 1:46.59 Joe was the only collegian in the race, the rest being pros. Joe was 6th at the 400m and had a very good last 400m.
Fred Lebow women's 3000m
2. Rachel Schneider 8:46.44 PR Rachel beat Jessica O'Connell, who set a national record for Canada in this race. Rachel was coming off her first 10K (and XC race at that) just last weekend.
