He is my #1 recruit for 2020. He looked good last night. Seems like MAM and Timberlake should be 1a and 1b on the big board right now. Like our chances with MAM more than Timberlake though. Would be great to get him on campus soon for an OV, has he been to the hilltop before in any capacity?

His size, length and game reminds me so much of DeAndre Hunter....

Matthew Alexander-Moncrieffe Moment: Alexander Moncrieffe had a moment during a drill session where he was dribbling from the right wing, “split a trap” using short, choppy strides, and then transitioned directly into a long stride to evade a rim protector planting on his left foot, and then was still able to completely load up off that plant foot and still have enough lower body strength to explode up and dunk it. It was, to me, the single most impressive moment made by anyone the entire week. That was special display of footwork, body control, and strength. Here are certain players who demonstrated what appeared to be a potentially elite or outlier skill: www.thestepien.com/2019/05/15/mcdonalds-american-nike-hoop-summit-high-school-star-circuit-practice-observations/

Moving Forwards It’s a forward position dominant class. Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe, Keon Ambrose and Amir Rahimzad’s best days are ahead of them. These 2020 forwards bring a great deal of length and athleticism. They’re the modern day hybrid forwards. The three have a knack for rebounding and blocking shots, whether its a chase down, coming off of help side or man to man. Moncrieffe coming down the lane is a scary site, he rises over defenders and punches in dunks. He had a strong showing during NBA All-Star weekend in Charlotte at Global Basketball Without Borders where he was recognized as a camp All-Star. While Moncrieffe is the more celebrated and known name through his days on Bounce and Orangeville Prep, Rahimzad’s skill set suggests that he can end up at the top of the class when its said and done. northpolehoops.com/2019/05/24/top-10-2020-canadian-national-player-rankings-addison-patterson-head-hancho-karim-mane-blowing-up/

The move by Moncrieffe at the end was really nice for a kid his size..

I don't see why Jahvon would have bad things to say about Georgetown. So he hasn't been a focal point of the team in his two years here, well maybe he needs to be a better defensive player with more of a refined skillset. It's not like the staff hasn't given him opportunities. Georgetown is a terrific school in the best city in the world, maybe Blair just loves it here regardless of his less than significant role.

Wow. DC “best city in world?” I love GU. But DC wouldn’t rank in my top 10 in the US, much less the world.
