Congrats to the new signees. Those TD stats on Tyler Knoop are very impressive.
On a side note happy to see us not simply recruiting the elite prep schools that for some reason, I'm assuming political (donations etc), we always have. In my opinion kids from these schools tend to have a higher attrition rate than say kids from smaller public schools. That's not a blanket statement but when I was on the team the guys that came from very comfortable backgrounds didn't seem to be as committed or stick it out all four years. I get academically they have to fit the Georgetown requirements but there are hungry kids and damn good ball players from all walks of life. Congrats to all the signees and the families. You just made the best decision of your life. #4for40
One thing though, can anyone explain why we only signed 16?

There were four signed early and 16 signed today for a total of 20. There were 16 seniors, so there is likely four that aren't returning for 2019. Sgarlata's team have less attrition on average than his predecessor.
FWIW, other PL teams generally sign around 15 each year because they offer 15 scholarships a year x 4 years to reach 60.

Got it. I keep forgetting about the early signing now. Thanks as always DFW Hoya.
