-Jared used WhatsApp to communicate with foreign persons, probably including MBS - Ivanka still uses a home brew server she shares with Jared for emails about official business - KT McFarland used an AOL email to participate in Flynn’s shady nuclear deal

Looking forward to puthath's spin... No spin. The deficit is a disgrace. But recall that Congress passes the budget, so the blame is on both parties and on both Congress and the Executive. Note that this problem dates back years — the February 2019 deficit is essentially the same as the previous record in February 2012, under Obama, if I recall correctly.

Except, of course, those of you that voted for Trump and his ilk did so, in significant part, because you're the party of "fiscal responsibility," no? Have you seen the current budget? Also, remind me who passed that budget. Who had the control/votes again? Just admit you're fine with being lied to directly and then tell us why that's acceptable. In service of what greater good for you or those like you? It's certainly not for the greater good of the majority.

Republicans long ago abandoned any semblance of fiscal responsibility, leaving Washington bereft of any party that can credibly claim that mantle. Our government is a train wreck. If you ran your finances the way Washington does, you would be bankrupt. Unless and until Washington realizes that you cannot continuously spend more than you take in and hope to be financially sound, this fiscal disaster continues unabated. The only real difference between Republican and Democrat fiscally is how they choose to waste our money.

Puthath, see tashoya’s response and questions. You ignored my earlier comment. I think that the Uniparty hacks in Congress are a disgrace. The Republicans in Congress with rare exception lie to voters to get elected and then renege on their promises -- witness McCain running in 2016 on "repeal and replace" and then showboating with his "thumbs down" antics on the final vote. The uniting principle in DC on both sides is to get together at budget time and spend our money to reward their special interest donors. As far as who to vote for, it is not a choice of who is best, it is a question of the lesser of two evils.

How about you?

Deflect deflect deflect. When cornered blame both sides... Not cornered. I think the spending in DC is a scandal. I agree that Republicans are to blame. Will you acknowledge that the Democrats also share blame?

How about you? I absolutely vote with my wallet. I do not like politicians taking my hard earned money and dole it out to their special interests. That goes for politicians on both sides. I want my money to go to my family and to select charities that do good.

Glad to see that Obama’s JV has been defeated as a territorial entity:

Just for poops and smiles can you tell me what Obama’s deficit was in his last year in office vs what Republicans spent last year in a bull market?

Just for poops and smiles can you tell me what Obama’s deficit was in his last year in office vs what Republicans spent last year in a bull market? It may also be informative to look at the deficit under each administration over the last 60 years and see if you still think Republicans and Democrats are the same with regard to fiscal irresponsibility. The odd thing is that, the one that tends to run at a far greater deficit is also the party that slashes social programs that, according to them, are far too costly to maintain.

The only real difference between Republican and Democrat fiscally is how they choose to waste our money. I agree with the general idea of this but I disagree with the last line. Republican administrations tend to run at far greater deficits even while paring social programs for those most in need of them.
