With Brissett & Battle staying in the draft, Cuse should kind of be garbage. They've got a five man freshman class but it is kind of like ours with a lot of unproven guys. We need to go undefeated in OOC games.

I just don’t see it and if it is a close game we are not as god as many expect. Stevens is good but the team they are putting on the court has less talent than Pat’s first team. Their guards would have to make a massive leap for them to even be decent.

We should win and it will be the perfect preparation for the Empire Classic.

www.ncaa.com/news/basketball-men/article/2019-05-30/college-basketball-rankings-andy-katzs-power-36-teams-rightPenn State is #34. The Hoyas are #20. Penn State might not be a pushover like me and others expect. Chambers isn't a good coach, but they did have a solid 2018 class that could potentially make a jump in 2019. And Lamar Stevens is an incredible player. They just couldn't win last year, though they had good metrics. We still need another good team on the schedule in my opinion. Let's say we don't get Duke and Penn State is a pushover that people like myself originally thought they would be. This schedule is now bad. Another solid team would solidify this worst-case scenario.

Best case scenario is the team plays Texas and Duke at MSG. At worst they will play only Texas or Duke at MSG. If I was organizing the event, opening night would be Georgetown vs Texas in one matchup followed by Duke vs California...

Central Arkansas 2019 - NET 298, KENPOM 302, RPI 283 Cal Baptist 2019 - NET 168, KENPOM 197, RPI 209 Prairie View 2019 - NET 206, KENPOM 209, RPI 150 Georgia St 2019 - NET 126, KENPOM 124, RPI 50 Geographically, Georgia St would make the most sense as the other matchup. Have to assume Cal Baptist will play Cal as one opponent, and Prairie View will play Texas as one opponent.

Georgia State is the best of that bunch and they have had a recent run of success prior to Hunter's departure.

They're a perennial 300+ team. Hopefully the rest of our OOC doesn't fill out at this level. Last year we were looking OK, and the bottom dropped out at the very end. We're even stronger so far for '20, but let's hope we don't turn a very good schedule into an average one (at least numbers-wise).
Interesting note on Central Arkansas: Despite not having any other OOC D-1 wins this year, they beat Little Rock twice. At home by 13 & away by 3.
We survived at home against Little Rock in OT. Thank you Mac.
