Man, I want Damion to be a Hoya more than any recruit we are realistically still involved with...he seems to be a great blend of James and Mac but with more length....Coach Ewing make it happen....🙏🏾

A guard that can handle and finish strong is a need. Shot looked okay, but these are highlights. 😋

I am really happy to see Kirby at the school recruiting Baugh hard. I know everyone on this board has been excited about possibly getting him the program but I had not seen much on social media about the staff actually being out there watching and talking to the player. This lifts my hopes that we could close the deal on this player. I hope he makes a decision soon.

Of all the guys we're looking at for 2019, I think I want him the most. Gladly take any of him/Q/Shannon/Gardner, but he's #1 imo

Baugh or Cole would work.

Welp, there's that. I thought his length would be of use as the 3rd guard. Hopefully it's a sign that we are guaranteed Cole but I'm sure Pat has back-up options.

Recruiting guards (other than 5 star types who are better than almost anyone) is going to be tough this cycle it seems. Akinjo and McClung are freshmen playing major minutes who will both be difficult to usurp. Mosely will be a senior who Ewing has proven to like to play in defensive situations. So what minutes are there at the guard spots? Stealing Blairs 5 minutes a game?

Baugh would have fit into what Coach Ewing is doing perfectly. Too bad they have lost out on him. Oh well, move onto the next guy!!!

One of the best defenders in the entire country has made his decision. Combo guard Damion Baugh picked the hometown Memphis Tigers over a host of other offers on Wednesday evening. The No. 134 ranked player in the class of 2019 according to the 247Sports Composite Ranking, Baugh is known for his ability to not only guard, but to get to the rim and also he has improved his ability to shoot the basketball as a senior. Because of his improvement, Baugh has seen his ranking rise in the 247Sports Top 247, to No. 117 overall and he is considered a four-star prospect. 247sports.com/college/basketball/recruiting/Article/Penny-Hardaway-and-Memphis-land-another-local-product-in-Damion-Baugh-129795337/

Damion Baugh: The names of James Wiseman, Precious Achiuwa and D.J. Jeffries will get a lot of mention around the Memphis program this year, but could Baugh be another potential one-and-done for the Tigers? He made a splash start during their overseas trip last month and if Baugh can show he can consistently knock down shots and take care of the ball, the NBA could come knocking earlier than expected. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/three-point-play-commits-coming-jaxson-robinson-one-and-dones
