Texas lost their football game to Maryland this weekend. I was pushing for Maryland....first time for everything I suppose.

This means all is forgiven by Terp fans regarding the football program.

Did Maryland have any visitors this weekend?

Is it safe to assume that Kirby is the point person here?

Or Ewing himself.
I'm sure Ewing is personally handling the Cole Anthony recruitment.

This means all is forgiven by Terp fans regarding the football program. Yikes...didn’t even consider that angle.

This means all is forgiven by Terp fans regarding the football program. Was there ever any doubt? Penn State is a national powers again. Urban Meyer kept a domestic abuser on his staff, and fans held a rally in support of him. You can't keep football down no matter the dirty deed.

You can't keep football down no matter the dirty deed. Tell that to these guys. This is a home game last season.

He did not commit during the Texas visit, but if he is going to choose Texas, I hope he does so sooner rather than later. If the official visit and in-home with Shaka do not confirm it for Texas, there may be light in this tunnel. I will be interested here if and when he schedules an on-campus visit in D.C.

Don't know if we have room for Y7, Timmy and Will next year. That's a lot of scholarships taken up by pure Cs.

Yea we do. Baker can play the 4' he shoots it really well with some handle. In sure Ewing is selling him on the fact that he can play some strech 4 if he comes to Gtown.

Exactly. Ewing can sell Baker on letting Timmy be the banger while Baker plays like Dirk

We absolutely always and forever have room for a talent like Will Baker. Tim changes nothing here.

Good to know Baker can play the 4 on offense, can he guard 4s on defense?

Baker isn't a 4 in this offense...

Ewing would have to tailor the offense some to fit the personnel. Maybe run some high low worth baker At the mid post. Can he guard other fours, I guess so. Depends on how quick they are. Maybe play some zone against quicker opposing pfs.
Good thing is that Texas And UCLA already have a number of bigs at their school already.

UCLA is interesting because Moses Brown is certainly oozing with potential but he isn’t the most skilled big out there and may not be a one and done despite his 5 star status. They’ve also got RS frosh Jalen Hill who should play this year. If Brown sticks around I don’t see Baker going there. At the end of the day I think kid decision will depend more on how long he wants or plans to stay in college, if his goal is the league ASAP, I don’t see him going somewhere he is forced to play either a back up role or out of position.
