To the shock of absolutely no one. Yet, sadly, not a thing will change including the minds of Trump supporters.

Because the Trump Administration is comically corrupt?
Because Republicans in Congress would rather whistle past the corruption than do anything about it?
All of the above?

Think about all that has happened in the last 19 days, and understand the White House is trying to avoid crossing the lowest bar of simply answering questions about it. ....
This is a corrupt government, led by an unethical leader void of principles, backed by a feckless and complicit Republican Party...

WEAKENING FINANCIAL PROTECTION RULES RUNS COUNTER TO THE VIEWS OF AMERICAN VOTERS, REGARDLESS OF PARTY.A majority of registered voters (58 percent) want either a return to the regulations which the country put in place following the 2008 financial crisis, (29 percent) or additional regulation of banks beyond those with $50 billion in assets (29 percent). Roughly two thirds of those who will “definitely” vote in 2018 want to keep the regulations that were in place or make them stricter (66 percent). Voters’ desire for increased regulation of the biggest banks transcends party lines. Majorities of Democrats (70 percent) and independents (53 percent), as well as nearly half of Republicans (49 percent), would have preferred to leave Dodd-Frank untouched or to introduce greater regulation of the biggest banks. In fact, just three-in-ten Republicans (30 percent) support financial deregulation. VOTERS WILL BACK CANDIDATES WHO WANT TO REIN IN WALL STREET AS A PART OF THEIR “JOBS AND ECONOMY” AGENDA.Two-thirds (67 percent) agree that they would be “more likely to vote for a candidate who supports regulating Wall Street and big banks, when he/she talks about the economy.” This includes strong majorities of Republican (59 percent), independent (65 percent), and Democratic (79 percent) voters. VOTERS SEE THE ROLLBACK OF FINANCIAL CRISIS RULES AS PART OF THE CORRUPTION IN WASHINGTONThe poll shows that most registered voters agree that weakening regulations on banks that got bailouts after the financial crisis of 2008-2009 is a great example of the corruption problem in Washington (69% agree). Critically, 56 percent of all registered voters, including a majority of Democrats, Republicans and independents believe that weakening regulations on the same banks that got bailouts “endangers my job, savings, and retirement.” bettermarkets.com/newsroom/better-markets-10th-anniversary-survey-memoWhen do the tax cuts start paying for themselves?

"This administration is different, because the people coming in really don’t know housing at all,” said Ron Ashford, a former HUD director who retired after 22 years at the agency. “As a result, they’re pursuing initiatives that aren’t grounded in reality.”
Great news? MAGA?

MAGA? Hey, at least the real estate agent has industry experience. Which puts him one up on the Secretary.

In any other administration this would be a firing offense. Trump's corrupt leadership is so deep and wide, we just shrug our shoulders. Thanks, GOP! Four aides on Long’s staff took a total of 25 trips to North Carolina, none of which involved official business, investigators found. They stayed in hotels near Long’s home while waiting to drive him back to Washington or to the Charlotte airport — all at taxpayer expense, the report said. Additionally, “all the drivers were provided either overtime or compensatory time,” investigators wrote. During one trip in March, as an aide drove Long to North Carolina after an official event in Hot Springs, Va., Long told the driver to stop at a neighbor’s home to pick up one of his sons, the report said. Another time, an aide picked up Long’s children from school — a detour, Long told investigators, the aide offered to make, according to the report. Investigators also highlighted an instance in November when Long directed an aide to pick him up at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and drive him 150 miles to McRae, Ga., where he attended a funeral for his wife’s grandfather, the report said. The Hawaii trip, during which Long mixed work and family time, coincided with his kids’ spring break from school, investigators said. While there, an aide drove Long and his family to visit a Dole pineapple plantation and a volcano after his official business was complete, the report said. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/brock-longs-improper-use-of-fema-staff-suvs-included-hawaii-pineapple-plant-tour-investigation-says/2018/09/26/8f90f2d0-c1ac-11e8-b338-a3289f6cb742_story.html?utm_term=.1c03edec2166In the Trump Administration this is Monday... Hey, it's just tax payer dollars, free money...

“A person close to the situation said Eric Trump had acted as the president’s son and not in his role as a company executive.” Even tho Eric directed a Trump Org. staff attorney to sign off on the paperwork.
What a scam these guys have going..

I guess the idea that a president shouldn't run a business while in office is also quaint.

NY AG suing to dissolve the so-called charity, the Trump Foundation for "persistent illegality," The Trump family is no different than an organized crime family. Great representatives of the GOP.

Nothing in the GOP tax bill did anything to stop people like Trump from ripping off the American tax payer.. Pretty cool that after years of cheating the system he hired cabinet members who also abuse the system by acting like tax payer dollars are their personal petty cash fund..

Yes, definitely cleaning the swamp. If "cleaning" means filling with high grade sludge.
