Glad Nealis got credit for the goal, it looked like more of an own goal from my live vantage point.
Syracuse aside, I don't think there's any team I enjoy beating more than WVU. Or maybe it's more that there's no team I hate losing to more than the 'eers. In any case, I'm glad that a bounce finally went the Hoyas' way, because a defeat would have been a tremendously unjust result for them. They generated SO many opportunities and had multiple point-blank shots go over the bar... if this had ended differently, it would've been an excruciating meteor shower of missed opportunities. Instead, the Hoyas have the luxury of telling themselves "won't miss the next one." A deserved outcome leads to fighting another day.

Sparty takes down Louisville in OT in a veeery chippy game with some major controversies and VAR reviews. That means the Hoyas get to play at home next weekend! Come on back to DC, Mex Carey...

JMU beats Carolina. If they can upset VA Tech this weekend and Hoyas win, we will be home for the Elite 8.

Syracuse aside, I don't think there's any team I enjoy beating more than WVU. Or maybe it's more that there's no team I hate losing to more than the 'eers. Case. In. Point. Right here: If the stat sheet gives off the impression that it was a very one-sided (I guess they don't know how to spell "one" in West Virginia) match... it's because it was. It was a one-sided match. And if there's anything "more than just Georgetown" that your team had to fight up against on the day, it was your mediocre coaching, you sad, sore, sorry loser, Marlon. Your team did demonstrate some real fight and effort to keep the game knotted at 0 until the dying minutes of Regular Time. They don't need you to gin up excuses on their account. Uh huh. Uh huh. How is it that you like to play, exactly, Marlon? Considering your one and only goalkeeper came into the game with a GAA of 1.43, I'm guessing the way you like to play entails giving up multiple goals per game. That being the case, I'd say the rough pitch played out in your favor, Marlon. Make sure the game's in Morgantown, you say, Marlon? Well, last I checked, you crashed out of the MAC tournament by losing 3-1 in Morgantown to Akron. They were the #4 seed, Marlon. The #4 seed IN A SIX-TEAM CONFERENCE, Marlon. Guess maybe even Morgantown can be a neutralizer for how you like to play, Marlon. Maybe you should just tip your cap and say "good game" next time, Marlon. Let your players do the talking with their play on the field. Yeesh.

He is remarkable.
If Hoyas don’t miss 4-5 golden chances this game is a rout.

I now love one LeBlanc and despise another. Glad he gets to enjoy Morgantown year-round.

unfortunately due to the rain and yesterday's game, Shaw likely unplayable.
