He has to be thinking I can step in and have a big impact right away.

He has to be thinking I can step in and have a big impact right away. Let's hope that is what he is thinking. Man, we just need more aggression to go along with our freshmen studs.

Nice quote about Qudus - sounds like he'll fit right in with James, Mac & Josh:
---------- Giving props: “He [Qudus] has the talent and work ethic, and you can’t teach that. I feel like he is limitless. He is more than just height. … Him being an unselfish player makes him a better player than people would think. He is always bringing 110 percent, so you have to, too.” — Franklin Pierce’s Isaiah Moore (All-Met at Flint Hill in 2018) ---------
He also sounds like the type of kid Coach E favors. And, he is from the DC area.

Congrats Qudus! I know the BE ALL-FR team is usually starters but I believe he can impact the game enough next year to be in the running.

I may have missed this discussion, but what is the deal with Wahab's listed height? hoyareport.com has him listed as 6'10". Verbal Commits has him listed as 6'11" and Hoyasaxa.com has him at 6'9' ?? WTH.

Here’s how you try to make sense of it and come to an answer that best suits you: Go with 6’9 if you want to keep the bar of expectations lower and not disappoint yourself by aiming higher. Go with 6’10 if you want to take the average. Go with 6’11 if you are wishing for the best scenario in terms of height. It probably won’t matter anyway. If the kid can play he’ll be good at any of those heights. Its all about the length and of his arms and his wingspan.

Wouldn’t you love to get a Perry McDonald clone? Not sure how he would fit in today’s game, but he was a warrior.

I once asked "The Big Sky" (one of the best nicknames ever) what his actual height was, and he replied, "gimmee 6'6"...which probably meant that he was a shade under...but he played like he was all of 6'9+...one of the Hoya all time greats...
