May God comfort this man until he calls him home...
May his family find serenity and comfort in knowing that he will be at peace.
Thank you for your service to our nation.

To remove any doubt that the Trumpist Republican Party is abhorrent, vile, and deplorable: Kelli Ward, a U.S. Senate hopeful and a onetime rival of Sen. John McCain, is facing a torrent of criticism after she appeared to suggest that his announcement Friday to halt medical treatment for his brain cancer was timed to hurt her campaign. McCain, 81, died a day after his announcement. One of Ward’s staffers on Saturday wrote a Facebook post wondering whether the statement from McCain’s family, made on the same day that Ward’s statewide bus tour kicked off, was simply a coincidence or a tactic “to take media attention off her campaign.” Ward did not dispute the notion and said in reply: “I think they wanted to have a particular narrative that they hope is negative to me." www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2018/08/26/arizona-senate-candidate-suggests-mccain-timed-his-pre-death-announcement-hurt-her-campaign/?utm_term=.b376e3891af4

Republicans compile list of oversight obligations they have abdicated for nearly two years.

Actually hilarious...
intentionally or not - They just admitted that most of this bull market and job growth was under President Obama. Which Trump has never admitted. .
All it took for Republicans to acknowledge the good Obama has done to the US economy is elect a Republican so they could take credit for it.. Lol
Trump's average of 171,000 jobs created per month in 2017 is actually the worst year of job creation since 2010. Trump says "Nobody thought it would be possible"

Trump says "Nobody thought it would be possible" "Truth isn't truth." -- Rudy Ignorant Trump cultists can't distinguish the truth from the lies that spew forth from the Trump Regime. BTW, the flag is back at full staff at the White House. What a petty classless draft-dodging narcissist. The flags were lowered Saturday night following McCain’s death from brain cancer, but Trump did not issue a proclamation that typically calls for flags to remain at half staff through the day of interment. Plans call for McCain, a former Navy pilot, to be buried Sunday in the cemetery on the grounds of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/flags-at-white-house-return-to-full-staff-after-brief-tribute-to-mccain/2018/08/27/14f5a9b2-a9ec-11e8-a8d7-0f63ab8b1370_story.html?utm_term=.a68ba8c6960d

That's Hoya Mark Corallo, ran the pub late '80s, yes? Yes, also an Army vet. He quit working for Trump right after the false statement drafted by Trump aboard AF One regarding the Trunp Tower meeting. Corallo was AG Ashcroft's public affairs spokesman at DOJ.

Perhaps the laws of political gravity do apply to Trump after all. Trump backs down. WASHINGTON – The U.S. flag flying over the White House was brought back down to half-staff Monday afternoon after an outcry over the decision to raise it just two days after the death of Arizona Sen. John McCain In his first formal statement on McCain's death, President Donald Trump said he respected McCain's service and ordered the flags back down. "Despite our differences on policy and politics, I respect Senator John McCain’s service to our country and, in his honor, have signed a proclamation to fly the flag of the United States at half-staff until the day of his interment," Trump said in a statement released by the White House. www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/onpolitics/2018/08/27/john-mccain-flags-white-house-full-staff/1108717002/

Your Republican Party. By Max Boot (former Republican): It took a popular outcry among veterans to force Trump to lower flags to half-staff in McCain’s honor and to issue a minimally laudatory statement. To paraphrase Winston Churchill, Trump rarely does the right thing, and then only after exhausting all the alternatives. By contrast, McCain did the right thing even at considerable cost to his physical and political well-being. Trump talks a lot about American greatness, but he actually represents the worst of America. As he showed again this week, he is petty, vindictive, insecure, self-centered and utterly bereft of dignity, honor or grace. McCain, by contrast, was a larger-than-life figure, a paragon of integrity who represented the best of America. I cannot think of a more damning commentary on the state of the Republican Party than the fact that its voters vastly prefer Trump to McCain. Trump’s approval rating with the country at large is low — 41.4 percent in the FiveThirtyEight poll of polls — but he has the support of 85 percent of Republicans. McCain, by contrast, was viewed favorably by just 41 percent of Republicans. In Arizona, his approval rating among his own party was a rock-bottom 20 percent. www.washingtonpost.com/news/global-opinions/wp/2018/08/29/republicans-rejected-mccain-and-embraced-trump-what-does-that-say-about-them/?utm_term=.7421719ebc8e
