Fair enough. But isn’t the Democrat Party the more enlightened, caring, MeToo Friendly crowd? How can such an enlightened group get behind cads like Menendez? Well, you created the "enlightened" part. I don't think any of us thinks all that highly of most politicians on either side at this point. But one party very directly bilks their constituency for their own benefit by playing on their most base beliefs and their fears. The other, at the least, attempts to do some things that are actually in the best interest of average people. And Your Republican Party laughs and cheers Don the Con as he campaigns for and lauds a GOP Congressman who plead guilty to misdemeanor assault. Enlightened GOPers. Did Gianforte have anything to say after Don the Con did this? Or is he a POS like Don the Con? (Cue a "whataboutism" or false equivalence).

I just wonder how you can stomach the likes of Hillary, Huma, Weiner and Menendez without vomiting.

Guys, you're forgetting the only rule of Elvado's game: Democrats have to own everything every Democrat has ever said, done, or thought, while Republicans can claim to find repugnant certain things they don't like about certain Republicans while supporting their policies. It allows him to stomach the racism, bigotry, and sexual assaults of our Republican President without vomiting.

You worship a seriall sexual assaulter In Clinton. Why were those women not worthy of belief? Were their hippocampi not sufficiently seared?... Good on you!

Both of us support serial sexual assaulters. But you're the one who supports a racist and bigot.

Adding racism and bigotry to sexual assault makes someone LESS repugnant in your view? Careful, you're giving away the Republican playbook here...

Just scanning the headlines today, I see Republicans (Trump mostly) attacking the free media, stories about family separation at the border, racist anti-immigration rhetoric, the Proud Boys attacking people in the streets, looming legislation that will end trans civil rights protection, and widespread voter fraud via any number of tactics aimed at keeping minorities from the polls. And, somehow this is less evil than something the Democrats are doing? What a world.

I love how Huma gets thrown in the mix simply for existing... Lol
What did she do other than fall in love with the wrong guy? Remember when Republicans where running around claiming she was Muslim Brotherhood and a terrorist sympathizer because... well ... you know.
It's not surprising that Elvado finds Dems more repugnant especially when you consider the fact most of what he posts on Dems is not factual like Menendez has sex with underage girls on donors dime or Uranium One or Hillary wore a recording device to the debate...
Meanwhile Republicans can be caught red handed doing something he accused a Dem of and we'll get- Maybe you didn't know this but in the summer of 1916 the Dems did the same thing.

Take this ridiculous stuff someplace else. And for you tell other posters to be more honest? Laughable, man. There are years of posts that tell other posters exactly what you believe.

Some info that might get lost from last night with all the headlines and spin everywhere. Dems flipped 333 State legislative seats this cycle with more results to come today...
That's a nice number...

Over 350 now so we're safe. 37 House seats estimate make it the largest Dem pickup in the White House since the Nixon administration.

Dems swept statewide offices in Wisconsin, but legislature is (even) more Republican. Assembly speaker is already talking about taking away gubernatorial powers in some sort of special session. Strangely, that wasn't an issue with Walker as governor.
Wisconsin may be the most effectively gerrymandered state in the union, both with respect to state legislature and House districts. I don't think any House race here was within 10 points.

Actual evidence for the post above -
Preliminary results show 1,306,922 votes for Democratic candidates for the Assembly, 1,102,721 votes for Republican candidates for the Assembly.
There were 33 Assembly races uncontested.
Pending one recount, the new Wisconsin Assembly will be 63 Republicans and 36 Democrats.
