This is truly ridiculous. I'm sure no first year coach has ever had a recruiting season like this. But I'd just say better them than Duke or Kentucky.

Recruiting is everything. Pat seems to get it. Different programs have different tools at their disposal. Coach Ewing and staff have recruited to fit the needs of the team. The foundation and building blocks are in place. A Big East reg or tourney championship, an NCAA berth this upcoming season...we'll have more 4-5stars lookin and committing our way too. Im not worried at all. Go Hoyas!.

I thought when the FBI got involved that it might scare the college recruiting world for a while. I thought wrong.

Can we rename the thread Memphi$ please. Maybe Memphi$$$ actually Completely disagree with this take. These are the thoughts of a sour grapes losing mentality. Penny Hardaway put in the work coaching nationally ranked kids in high school at a high-level and on the AAU circuit. That’s why these kids know him. He built the recruiting foundation and made the connections necessary to succeed at high major D1 recruiting in the 21st century (the way the recruiting game is played now). A good first step for Ewing would be to add someone from the DMV AAU circuit to the recruiting staff. Kids are not going to Memphis because Penny Hardaway played in the NBA.
There is a lesson to be learned here that we could benefit from when competing against the blue bloods.
