I'd say he's insane but that gives him an excuse for his racist, malignant behavior. Where are the former Trump supporters (cultists) who believed in his agenda and didn't think a moral component is part of leadership? And show me the pesos! I was right with you until you inserted morality. That is a quality that left Washington long ago. The prime mover in DC is power. Case closed.

Unfortunately, “public service” has largely morphed into “personal gratification” and we are none the better for that change. The current circus displays that in its most extreme and vile form.

Never quite grasped it in Law School and that was over 30 years ago. No thanks. All I remember is "lives in being plus 21 years." What it means? ? I took the advice from my bar review instructor 30+ years ago: there will be a question on the bar exam about the rule against perpetuities. Just guess at the answer. It’s too complicated to understand, worthless in any event, and you’ll never use it the rest of your life.

Nice pull. That movie was so long ago that Kathleen Turner was attractive...and not yet working the British accent affect...

All you should need to defeat this in court is the quote above, but I'm sure the conservative justices will invent some reason to uphold.

I do remember, though, that Kathleen Turner was awesome back then. Thinking about that Kathleen Turner makes my hair stand on end. Even though I haven't seen Body Heat in like 35 years, I think I have this right - one of my favorite lines, Kathleen Turner to William Hurt - "You're stupid, aren't you? I like my men that way."

When I took the bar exam, I intentionally skipped the constitutional law question, and didn't study con law at all. I know that tied my hands with respect to the other questions, and I'm sure Larry Tribe would have disagreed, but even back then in my idealistic days, my view of constitutional law was that there was no consistency to it, and the law was whatever the justices at the time wanted it to be. Stare decisis. Ha.

T: I got super secret stats that you don't know about
Reporter: Can we see them?
T: No! They're secret!
How can you rail against fake news and support this guy? He is fake news personified. Accurate information is the enemy of this administration

He's going to convince the Japanese government to nominate him for the Nobel Sphincter prize.

A toxic, racist and malignant Trump puts his political fortunes above good governance. Wonderful job, Republicans! Kudos! Why is the president so willing to dig in and risk legal defeat when it comes to his signature immigration issues? It might be because without cooperation from Congress, Trump’s best shot at fulfilling some of his key campaign promises is to take bold — and possibly unconstitutional — actions and hope for a victory in the courts. Even a series of losses might seem better, from a political perspective, than doing nothing. As Christopher Lasch, a law professor at the University of Denver, told me, “To the extent that he can tell his base he’s trying to do something, that’s a win for Trump — regardless of how the cases turn out.” In the case of sanctuary cities, what’s at stake is the balance of power between the federal government and state and local authorities — and so far, judges have almost uniformly sided against the federal government. fivethirtyeight.com/features/trump-is-losing-the-legal-fight-against-sanctuary-cities-but-it-may-still-pay-off-politically/

Trump supporters and the Republican Party is complicit in the destruction of families. Good job! Good job! The party of "family values"? The American Civil Liberties Union asked a federal judge on Thursday to order the Trump administration to account for all migrant children who were separated from their parents at the U.S.-Mexico border, after a government watchdog reported that officials might have split “thousands” more children from their families than they had previously disclosed. Sabraw did not immediately issue a ruling, but he had pointed questions for the government and noted that the ACLU could not have demanded the fuller accounting any earlier because the government didn’t disclose how many children they had actually separated from their families. “They’re not clairvoyant,” Sabraw said, noting that it is critical to understand where every child went. “ It’s important to recognize that we’re talking about human beings. Every person needs to be accounted for.”www.washingtonpost.com/national/aclu-asks-judge-to-order-trump-administration-to-determine-how-many-children-were-separated-from-their-parents-in-border-crackdown/2019/02/21/bb7abd52-3602-11e9-a400-e481bf264fdc_story.html?utm_term=.7ac59e4dea98(N.B. Judge Sabraw fails to recognize that the Trump Administration does not see brown people as human beings).
