Loved watching he and Lee Scruggs take down #1 seed Cuse in the BET some years back. Happy for him....good gig!

As long as he doesn't have a "closed fist" play to signal, he'll do fine.

Can only imagine the brilliant end game plays he designs... Hopefully doesn't involve penetrating through 3 defenders.

He is loved in New Zealand. Great for him! His game in multiple overtimes in NIT against Virginia was really impressive. Needed IVs after the game just so he could leave the gym.

I know I will take heat for this but I enjoyed watching him play and eventhough we were not very good he always gave it his all and we had some real wars on the court. I wish him all the luck

Anyone remember the giveaway for Kevin Braswell's senior day in 2002?

All time leader in assists and steals, 7th all time in scoring. Started all 128 games in career.
Seems like a pretty valuable Hoya to me. Perhaps because we were only a few years apart at Georgetown, I enjoyed watching Braswell and I am happy to see him building a nice career for himself in New Zealand. He seems happy there.

No hate for Braswell from me. It was a rough time for Hoyas fans when the cognitive dissonance was really taking shape. Braswell was nothing but a warrior for us.

I wish him all the luck +1 Don't know why he gets the hate. I think people wanted him to be an Iverson or Page. There was a gap year between Page and Braswell and it wasn't a pretty year. His first year was the Big John to Eshrick transition, which wasn't a great stretch. The point guard, when there isn't much around them, often gets the blame. The Eshrick years were rough and Braswell was there at the start. There was hope(-ish) that things could turn around, but it wasn't really happening. The 2000-01 season was a good uptick, but that was about it for tourney and things seeming like they were really improving. I really liked Braswell's game, particularly after the NIT game at Virginia.

Braswell carried us in a lot of lean years. Yes, he was far from a perfect player and his slots on the the all time lists due partially due to lack of talent around him, but I don't know how you don't like a guy who held us up after Big John left.

It was a big loss after he was gone. Funny thing is, Esh never could find a replacement for him afterwards. Drew Hall, Tony Bethel (was a 2 but forced to play 1), Causey, Reed,....Cook was more of combo guard than pure 1.

i remember him hitting a GW jumper @south carolina, maybe in 2002? He was a really good scorer during some dark times for the program (other than the '01 run to S16).
