The Virginia Challenge is scheduled for April 20-21. That likely seemed like the last meet to get some good times to qualify for the regional NCAAs. However, I just found out that Georgetown will probably send a crew to Stanford for the Cardinal Classic the same dates as the Virginia meet. I guess the coaches are looking at the entries for each meet for what would be the best venue to get some regional qualifier times.

This is the week that they drop previous years' marks and the rankings reflect only this year's times. Therefore, the men drop from 38th to 103rd. They have a total of 8.75, and most of that (7.8) is due to Rey Rivera's 800m time this weekend. Rey is 14th in the nation in the 800m. Other points were earned by Amos Bartelsmeyer in the 800m, Spencer Brown in the 1500m, and Michael Crozier in the 10,000m. It is a bit odd that Jon Green's 5000m time did not warrant any points.
The women are not on the radar.
