Upside is the name of the game when it comes to three-star big man Dieonte Miles. Not known was much about Miles until the very end of July, but after playing well with the MATTS Mustangs, Miles began to have high-major programs sniffing around with him. In fact, in recent weeks Miles took unofficial visits to both Louisville and Xavier, and following the visit to Xavier a decision was made, Miles High School Coach, Grant Brannen, confirmed to 247Sports.

“Ed’s got a situation now where he’s got a lot of talented players at all different spots,” Hassett said when reached Monday. “There’s a lot of flexibility but you’ve also got a lot of youth. I think they’ll be a lot of growing pains early on, but the talent is definitely there. We’ll see how they develop.”
The 6-foot-6 Nichols is one of the central figures in Providence’s youth movement. During the Italy trek, he was utilized in a number of different ways.
“Nichols was terrific. He can make threes and when they pressed, they would put him on the ball. He was deflecting passes and trapping all over the pace,” Hassett said. “His arms are long and he has a good feel for the game. Ed over his coaching career here likes to go with small lineups. (Nichols) can play the center position and use his quickness to his advantage. He fits in extremely well with the style Providence likes to play. He’s going to be a really good player. I really like his game.”
Talk of a 6'-7" 200lb kid playing the 5-spot in some line-ups for PC..

LeBlanc seems the stronger of the two but Nichols is more polished offensively.. I understand the constant clamoring for true bigs but it's kids like these two who can be matchup nightmares for teams...

We’ve sucked, so we get no respect. Need to beat people this season. Preseason accolades mean squat.

Really good pull by Nova. Not necessarily an O&D either. He's got the talent to be an O&D but. needs to get stronger and learn to play hard on a consistent basis. Seems like the kind of young man that would come back a 2nd year to improve his game and draft positioning.
