I am just glad we will finally have something substantive--wild predictions and speculations aside--to report on and talk about. Let the games begin!

Sunday should be fun to see if Moseley and Pickett will show a few things to those whippersnappers.

HT roll call for this weekend? I’m guessing this will be the best attendance Kenner has seen in years.

DanMcQ just posted the update that rosters will be available to the public later today or tomorrow, but there is a good chance that James Akinjo and Mac McClung could be playing against Maryland guard Anthony Cowan today. A.Cowan has played for Darren McClinton All-Stars for the past 2 years at the Kenner League. If A.Cowan is playing for them, it should be a good test for Akinjo and McClung.

When I saw this on twitter I wondered if the freshnen-press rule still applied or ever applied to incoming recruits who were in summer courses months before the official school year begun. The program may not have ever had to worry about such a possibility before because most players didn't have newspapers contacting them before the start of Kenner League play. This beat writer for this small newspaper seemed to have developed a rapport with McClung, not to mention anything McClung does would be of interest to the area this writer covers. So this could get very interesting in terms of how the program handles it. Do they embrace a new future and let this type of thing happen more regularly or will they clamp down on any communication with any media members as per usual.

Rosters? From the Kenner League itself? What Kenner League is this? Not sure, but I think I like it.
Sadly, missing the first day so storing up anticipation for Sunday.

Omer Yurtseven really needs a year just to get stronger. Not an unknown since we’ve seen what he brings to the table but he’s been getting worked in the paint.

Is Antwan playing the 4 or 5? Some dude from NC&T. Twan played a lot on the perimeter. Tried to pound the air out of the ball a little too much for my taste. Really sloppy game overall.

About how you expect. Iffy handling the ball but can square up and nail it from deep. Quick release. Nothing’s changed.

Can’t remember the last time I saw this many people at a KL game.
A lot of kids with all eyes on Mac.
