I will stick with my genetically superior Scott Skiles comp for Mac. 47 inch vertical is just ridiculous.

Thanks for posting. I looked multiple times on their website for stream info and there was nothing.

Thanks for posting. I looked multiple times on their website for stream info and there was nothing. I found it there. I just caught the end of it and everyone going around Mac. The comments next to the picture were 75% about “Mac Mania”. The attention the program is going to get next year is going to be crazy. After the recent years, everyone should embrace it.

AI hasn't always made great decisions but his heart was always one of his greatest gifts. Kudos to him for paying it forward to the younger guys.

AI and Mac...what a great weekend for the Hoyas media-wise. Iverson has bridged the generationa gap, Mac's ballplay against high caliber talent, and the committment of Akinjo has brought alot of the excitement to the program. The perception of not recruiting quality caliber guards is over...pg's and sg's are gonna look at the Hoyas as being a viable option now.

Seems like AI has taken great interest and pleasure in watching Mac. Do we see AI courtside at most Hoya home games? Not sure if he moved back to Newport News but travel to DC shouldn't be too bad.

You almost never see AI at Hoya home games. Eric Smith, Lonnie Duren, Michael Graham, and Mark Tillmon are the most likely alums at home games on a regular basis. Occasionally, Ralph Dalton and Otto Porter, Jr. (when Wiz are at home).

Yeah, as far as I know, Smith, Duren, Graham and Tillmon are all local to the DMV Craig Shelton still lives in the area and I don't recall ever seeing him at any games.

Who recalls when Bay Bay did color commentary with Chvotkin? And IIRC, Mike Hancock joined the Montgomery County PD at some point after graduating so he was also local.

He had a beef at one point with the School, JT2, etc., not sure if he still does and that is the reason why?

He had a beef at one point with the School, JT2, etc., not sure if he still does and that is the reason why? Don't know anything about a public beef that Big Sky had with JT2, maybe over Shelton's failure to graduate? The well-reported Fred Brown falling out is the one I remember. Last I heard, after Shelton's pro career ended (NBA for a year then Italy) he was working at Giant Food in Maryland. Interesting article from 1986 which mentions John Duren and Shelton: Shelton is married and playing in Italy for PallaCan-estro Trieste. He is one of the few players recruited to Georgetown by John Thompson who has not earned his degree. Shelton, the All-Met player of the year from 34-0 Dunbar in 1976, excelled with big numbers (17 points per game) with the Hoyas. He did a quick fizzle in the NBA (career average: 4.1 points), then drifted off to the CBA's Atlantic City Hi Rollers. www.washingtonpost.com/archive/sports/1986/04/02/after-the-fast-breaks-come-the-tough-breaks/d2dc2a65-e5f2-4bc1-af52-7e05e99ff5ce/?utm_term=.7e1023b37ca2To get this thread back on track, it'd be nice of AI showed up at Cap One Arena to see Mac. Good boost for the program.
