Tariq is a kid that flew under the radar because of the reasons mentioned above and some because he just hadn't developed enough. I saw him over the summer and at that point he was nowhere near a BE level player. He may have developed a lot more and more importantly become a way better shooter this prep school year but it would be a huge jump to warrant a Georgetown offer. He will be a kid that will go to a mid major and then because of the prep year/age will probably have an impact late in his career and people here will say we missed on him. This is not meant to be a knock on him. I just don't think many people here factor in what a big jump it is from the Big East say to the CAA. While we are on WeR1 though sign me up for Isaiah Wong right now. Fair assessment...Tariq could be that kid in a couple of yrs. that make people wonder, how in the hell did this young man slip through to a Mid-Major. Time will tell, as his arrow is pointing up.
