Probably, but if this kid thought he was good enough to make it at Duke and get playing time, then I am sure he ain’t worried about playing time at either school. We shall see which he picks.

Why would a kid from New York chose Indianapolis over DC? Exactly.

Who on our team is /was ranked higher than him at his position...answer, nobody...so if he's competitive, playing time is available... if he wants it handed to him, then yes, Butler may appear better...but he ought to think about which coach is more likely to put together a highly competitive squad over the next couple of years...my money's on PE...

Hmm, he might shave the team's logo in the back of his head

No idea if this kid will ever live up to his recruiting ranking, but the optics will be good for Pat if he joins. And Pat must have a decent recruiting pitch on what he’s trying to build ... I know kids go off way more than game atmosphere but ours stinks out loud right now whereas Butler’s is everything high-major college hoops should be.

Surprised he did not declare for Butler while there if that is tone the choice.

Surprised he did not declare for Butler while there if that is tone the choice. Could tell us something - although maybe he wanted to go home and make sure he thought everything through, and was not just caught up in the atmosphere of the game and the visit.

I actually would be surprised if he chose Georgetown. He would get more playing time at Butler next yr.

I would actually be surprised if he chose the coach who does NOT have a HOF college and pro career, 15 years of NBA coaching experience, and the ability to tell him exactly what he needs to do to not only play, but succeed, in the NBA.😎

I actually would be surprised if he chose Georgetown. He would get more playing time at Butler next yr. From what we’ve seen so far, there is no consistent third option to go to on offense after Jessie and Marcus, and no one stands out as a superior defender. PT is completely up for grabs if he earns it.

Hoping he'll make the best decision or himself and his family. Young ma, Georgetown is your best choice!

This makes me nervous. From my limited experience, whenever a team is the supposed favorite the other team gets the kid....especially with the kid just seeing in person who he is replacing score 37pts....just saying.....

It doesn't seem his role in the team would be like Martin as their play styles are completely different. Inside game is huge with Martin while Tucker plays outside more. I feel like he would see where he could fit in with both teams and his role with us would seem more like his game, keeping in mind I am not sure where he'd fit in with Butler. Maybe in a Jorgensen type role but he's staying for another year so I am not sure.
