Not a point guard. He is a 6'7 small forward.
Don't understand why they say Georgetown will be on him. I'm I missing something here. I believe he played with Ej Montgumery Wheeler high school in Atlanta. Before choosing Duke, St John's and Georgia Tech was on him pretty heavy....
Tucker probably sees the writing on the wall with Reddish coming in next yr. Should be eligible December of 2018.

This would alleviate our shooting problem on the wing...

Definite take if it were up to me. He and Pickett on the wing for the next couple years is pretty exciting to think about

He was a late offer if I remember correctly. Coach K swooped in at the 11th hour and stole him from Tech. Probably took him to keep him from going to Tech......I hate Coach K......

And that school up in Southern Canada wanted him badly too. Would imagine he's gonna make a decision within the next week and a half or so before 2nd semesters start. Get him on campus this weekend for Creighton and lock him up

I don't get why we keep looking to fix the middle and not the ends! We have Kaleb, Pickett, Walker, LeBlanc, and Grayson next year WE NEED ANOTHER TRUE PG AND A CENTER!

One of our biggest needs (in addition to the PG/Center mentioned) is for a pure shooter with athletic ability and size on the perimeter...competition improves your team...his stroke looks great to me, and if he can help us land EJ Montgomery (former Wheeler H.S. teammate) then its a homerun...with him (EJ), we can mix and match in the pivot (until 19) IF Jesse leaves and we still have one schollie for a PG...

This is very true Eddy and I agree; however, out of all those guys listed there are not a lot of proven shooters. Pickett and Carter are promising in that department, Kaleb has shown spurts of good shooting, and the other two are quite unknown from behind the arc. I just think adding Tucker (which full disclosure I haven't seen him play but have read and watched highlights showing him to be a pretty damn good shooter) would open things up for Mac on the break and provide some needed spacing for our bigs to operate down low which we don't have right now. Don't think you can have enough shooting. But you are right we need another true 5 and a ball-handler as well still.

Do we really have three open scholarships? What about Mourning? I thought it was two scholarships plus Mourning returning after a medical redshirt year.

Another poster asked why SJU would back off and ZB agreed with the statement that there's "lots of criticism out there of him." I dunno exactly what that means...

Adding Tucker would probably work two seasons down the road when Kaleb is gone but he's immediate impact to the team would cause transfers/de-commitment or someone sitting at the end of the bench for a year. As far as shooters for next year we have Greg and Mourning, hopefully!
