Forget the numbers analysis. My take on Jamorko is probably the same of most posters. I will agree that he has turned a corner when I no longer find myself holding my breath and gripping the barcalounger whenever he handles the ball. Or thinking no, no, no every time he takes a shot. I fear it will be a long time coming however.

I think if we had a Rodney Pryor on our team this year, we would definitely be dancing. Malinowski and Pickett just couldn’t get us there.

every team on the bubble could say the same thing. Rodney was a really, really good player. I don't think we need someone as good as Rodney to raise the level of play dramatically. Someone like Trawick would be perfect - solid two way player plus the kind of toughness that we sometimes lack when things start to go wrong in a game.

I think Rodney was so dominant and the other players so passive that a similar player would not be good for this team. He was more like a one man show...he was all we had!
We need a Jeff Green or Otto Porter next year....that type of self-assured skilled player.

I thought he was coming into his own but not yet a finished product. He had the right attitude but his shooting technique and handle had not quite arrived.

Putting aside the defensive shortcomings at the 5, LJ Peak is the guy this team needs. Team-oriented, could guard multiple positions (WELL), get to the rim and hit the 3.

A consistent, athletic scoring/shooting wing player, like LJ, is what this team has missed all year. Some guys have had decent games (Jamorko, Greg and Kaleb), and the team does well when they do, but it has not been consistent.

We need a Jeff Green or Otto Porter. I agree that an NBA lotto pick is exactly what we need.

barttorvik.com/team.php?team=GeorgetownFor what’s its worth, he charts below even Trey as our most inefficient player, and actually below the average D1 replacement player. Really dtesapointimg for a guy who had such a high ceiling given his physical tools. The two benchings this year were interesting as he’s been the only one to get this treatment. I don’t want to speculate on his future, but I do think PE needs to hit the transfer market hard to at least provide some competition for minutes at the 3.

I think Ike would have developed well under Coach Ewing. If he had responded to the push and tough love Ewing gives his players he could have been a star at Georgetown. He became a better player at Nebraska than he was when he left, but I don't think he ever reached his potential.

That's crazy talk. He is awful. The number 1 reason we have not turned the corner this year. 3 brutal turnovers per game. Never seen a post so far from the truth.
