I wouldn't be too worried about any of our recruits being "overlooked." They will all get their time to shine. Of course, and no offense to Tay, a lot of people thought Guibunda was overlooked coming into last season, and look what happened to him...
The point is, you never what's going to happen with incoming recruits, some pan out and some don't. It doesn't really do much good speculating until we see them play.

i've seen him once, in an all-star game in richmond. i think dude is an athletic forward, who will probably excel initially in an open court environment.
in terms of skills, he has a funny set jumper, that seems to be deadly if he has space. in richmond, he started out terribly, but went on a 6-8 point scoring spree in the second half, mostly in the open court evironment. This includes a nice high flying slam or two.
in the half court, he scored off putbacks and i believe a back down move. i have to consult my notes, but i think he finished with like 12 pts or so. don't quote me on that right now though.
now all of this was gleaned through the prism of an all star game, so it should be taken with that grain of salt. i don't think he will be the best ball handling forward on the team. that will go to brandon, and dj, when he plays forward. i do think he will thrive when the hoyas press. in the halfcourt, i see him as having to work on his one-two dribble and shoot skills; spann seemed to need alot of backdown or ball patting to get a shot, and right now i just don't see him as that good of a ball patter.
he is more than willing to play d, though sometimes he seemed a little stiff. i think he will have to adjust to the speed of the d1 game. not alot of time for indecision, or excessive ball patting, unless you are a dude with really patting skills, and even then you have to quicken the move, or defenses will collapse. that is kind of what the other guys @ that all star game did early on.
thats by and large, my take.

Thanks for the update, Ron. He sounds like a solid pickup, at the very least.
