Well, in the polls this week, they have wiped out all the marks from previous years. Consequently, the Hoyas fell 32 places to 57th. They have received points for Rey Rivera's 800m, Jon Green's 5000, Amos Bartelsmeyer's mile, and the DMR team.

The Hoyas fell four places to 61st. Their scorers are Rey Rivera in the 800, at #32, Jon Green in the 5000m at #16, Amos Bartelsmeyer in the mile at #14 (I can't believe there at 13 guys ahead of him with his 3:57 time, and the DMR at #7. Unlike the flotrack rating, this should be the correct standing with the Hoyas #7.

With the DMR it will be tough for the Hoyas to duplicate their 2017 finish at #3. However, this weekend the Hoyas beat the defending champions in Ole Miss.

The men are down to 69th and the women are 124th. The Big East did not allow for fast times as a win was more important than a time. The closest race to bring a fast time was the 5000m with Jon Green setting the BE record, but five seconds down from his time at Iowa State. He fell two places in the national rankings to 18, thus he might be out of the NCAA meet. Amos fell from 14th to 15th in the mile. If the NCAA accepts 16, then Amos is in. However, since he will be running the anchor on the DMR team, Amos might opt out for running the mile. The DMR team is ranked 9th, so if they accept 12, the Hoyas should be in. Some very fast times this year nationally.
