What does it say about Minnesota that they only win by 5 playing most of the second half 5-on-3?

The Mountain West Conference is apparently in discussions with Gonzaga and Brigham Young about leaving the West Coast Conference and going up with the likes of Nevada, Boise State and UNLV. Makes geographic sense (at least more than the Zags to the Big East).

Almost as funny as Indiana losing to 14-seed Rutgers because the game is in their backyard. B1G!

The B1G won't be coming back to New York any time soon. Delaney wants the premier week at the Garden presently occupied by the Big East, and he's not getting it.
New Brunswick is about one hour away from New York City. Not sure I'd call it RU's backyard. Still closer to New Brunswick than, say, Iowa City, Lansing or Champaign-Urbana.

If Davidson's win over Rhode Island knocked Syracuse out, I will give them a sliver of forgiveness for the past.

Syracuse in. This committee is a joke. When you finish 11th in your conference and have signature wins against Clemson and Miami, you’re a lock.

Syracuse in. This committee is a joke. If we beat them, they would likely have been out.

The people who should really be outraged are the residents of Dayton who have to brace for a crime wave...

Telling that when the committee chairman was asked by Barkley why Ariz. State and Syracuse got in, he gave a stock answer about ASU and ducked Syracuse.

Neither Syracuse nor Arizona State should be in, but Syracuse is ridiculous. Meanwhile, USC got the shaft. Despite my antipathy toward USC, I take no pleasure in that.

Anybody who believes that the committee was not punishing FBI targets - I own a great bridge that I could let you have for a song.
