The PC loss was a bad one imo, they got routed in the second half.. Xavier had a good win but Creighton winning at Northwestern in a very well played game was the best win of the bunch to me.. Not sure how good NWestern really is They struggled in their first two games vs. Loyola MD and St. Peters winning by 4 and 9 points respectively You could definitely be right but they're in the top 25 in every poll right now and they looked good against Creighton..

I think the most impressive out of conference wins were the two death march wins by our Hoyas.

IF I had to do a power ranking today. Still kind of muddled, but my best guess. Everyone will have a better gauge after the early season tournaments coming up. Everyone except for the Hoyas ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think the most impressive out of conference wins were the two Bataan death march wins by our Hoyas. Not funny. Sez you. You have to maintain a light heart about what may well prove to be the worst OOC schedule by a Big 5 conference team ever.

Providence wins the first OOC tournament title for the BE this season. Tremendous showing... they are going to be tough...
"Today was one of those days where whatever we threw up went in," head coach Ed Cooley said after Providence won the championship game of the 2K Classic with a 90-63 win over Saint Louis at Madison Square Garden on Friday night.
For all intents and purposes, Providence had the early-season championship wrapped up at halftime. The Friars led 41-21, and 10 players played at least five minutes in the half. All 10 had contributed in a tangible way to help Providence build its lead.
"They were pretty physical with us," Ford said. "We're usually pretty physical ourselves. So for whatever reason, we didn't respond very well to it.
"We weren't playing through contact at all. We were receiving contact and then we were backpedaling from it rather than playing through it."
Shot 90% from 3.

Marquette list to Wichita St. 80-66.. I saw some of Marquette in their last few games. they were off to a good start but I was unimpressed. Average team that needs to shoot 3's really well to beat a good team.

Average team that needs to shoot 3's really well to beat a good team. No one else can score outside of their undersized back court combo of Howard & Rowsey. Every team that plays them just need to run PnR or screen players away from the ball. Marquette players are so lost in these situations. This Marquette team actually reminds me of last year's Hoyas team. Only has 2 players who score consistently and lost on defense particularly in PnR.

Kyron Cartwright makes a ridiculous running 3 at the buzzer to beat a really good Belmont team 67-66.
A lot of people will say Jalen Brunson is the best PG in the BIG EAST but IMO Cartwright is the best s and most complete Floor General in the conference and it's not even close. Lead the conference in assist last year and will get you the tough buckets when you need it. Ed Cooley has developed his guards better than any other coach in the conference.

That was a very good game, glad PC pulled it out.. They play BC on Saturday, Cooley put together a tough schedule.. I love Cartwright but I'd take Brunson over him, Brunson will never have high assist numbers because everyone touches & passes in Wright's system..
