Horribly sad news from Florida, where former Phillie and Blue Jay star pitcher Roy "Doc" Halladay died today at age 40 in a private plan crash into the Gulf of Mexico. A two-time Cy Young Award winner, he was 40 years old.
Halliday was as dominating as there was in MLB for a seven year stretch. Requiescat in pace, Doc.
